My education took place at the school for vocals in Hamburg, Germany. Three very intensive years that allowed me a glimpse into a completely new world. It was a privilege and pampering for my soul to be able to just be concerned with music and myself.
Since these formative years I was active in many different roles within the music field. My interests in all styles of music and my passion for teaching gave me many chances to apply my craft.
Many years my longing to interpret my own songs were expressed in endless vocal improvisations with me supplying the same guitar chords over and over. I am very thankful that in Markus I have found a partner, who is not only able to translate my musical ideas but who moreover expands my vision with his style of playing the bass. My improvisations became songs after all and from this fountain of creativity new melodies come constantly.
The great thing about singing is for me, that you are never done learning. There is an endless array of aspects to this instrument called the voice, just like small and large doors, which show me new paths.
And every new path leads me towards new discoveries
